Alana P. Alleyne is an Associate in the Conveyancing and Property Development Department of Lex Caribbean’s Barbados office.
Alana was awarded a Barbados Government Exhibition prior to entering the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus to pursue her degree in law. In 2011, Alana was awarded a Bachelor of Laws with Honours from that institution and in 2013 was awarded her Legal Education Certificate from the Hugh Wooding Law School in Trinidad & Tobago.
Alana was called to the Bar in Barbados in 2013, after which she began her practice in a number of areas including Personal Injury, Family Law and Conveyancing. In 2017, Alana joined Lex Caribbean where she advises both local and international clients on matters relating to real estate including the sale and purchase of properties, real estate financing and leases. Her practice also extends to land title proceedings, restoration of title deeds and probate matters.
In addition to her professional endeavours, Alana is actively involved in community service projects and is particularly interested in causes which are geared towards the youth. She is a member of the Optimist Club of Barbados Bridgetown and has served as Secretary, Vice President and President of this organization.
