Barbados Secures Imminent Removal from EU Blacklist

Consistent with Barbados’ concerted efforts through a public-private sector partnership (in which Lex Caribbean partner and International Business Group Lead, Melanie Jones, has been deeply engaged), to develop Barbados’ economic substance legislation; and pursuant to the ongoing dialogue among the Barbados Government, the OECD and the EU on this topic, Barbados is to be removed from the EU Blacklist on 17 May 2019, as reported by Bloomberg today.
