Anice Granville is a Partner and leads the firm’s Conveyancing and Property Development practice in the Barbados office. She has been with the firm over 13 years, during which time, prior to her current portfolio, she was an associate and then Partner in the firm’s Commercial Litigation, Insolvency and Restructuring practice. During her time at Lex, Anice has distinguished herself as a commercial and property development lawyer who has successfully built and developed her expertise in areas of corporate and property finance and security, restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, enforcement of security including insolvency and receivership and sale of residential and commercial assets involving large property developments, condominiums and hotels.

Anice was admitted to practice law in Guyana in 1998 and is a member of the Guyana and Barbados Bar Association. She is a member of INSOL International.

In addition to her professional pursuits, Anice spends a considerable amount of time mentoring, teaching and contributing to the development of technical skills of associates and support teams in the firm.

Outside of the firm, Anice actively volunteers with the World Rugby – Get Into Rugby program in Barbados which targets and introduces children and young adults to the values, discipline and game of rugby. She is currently the Deputy Director of Youth Rugby Barbados and is the mother of 3 children. Anice is an avid reader and enjoys gardening in her spare time.
