Brian A. P. Reece is an Associate of Lex Caribbean, Attorneys-at-Law. He is currently a member of the firm’s Property Development and Conveyancing Team and has a keen interest in property, energy and environmental law.

Brian is a graduate of the University of Manchester, in the United Kingdom where he attained his M.Sc. in Environmental Engineering and later completed his Bachelor of Laws Degree at the Cave Hill Campus, University of the West Indies. During his time at U.W.I., Brian was actively involved in the Cave Hill Law Society as a Student Representative. He then attended the Norman Manley Law School obtaining his Legal Education Certificate (LEC) and was admitted to practice law in Barbados in 2019. At Norman Manley, he was an active member of the Environmental Law Society and the organising committee of the American-Caribbean Law Initiative (ACLI) Moot.

Brian has considerable technical experience in industry within the private sector. Immediately before completing his law studies, he was employed as the Health, Safety and Environment Manager in a large power generation and transmission Company. Brian is also a Member of the Institute for Environmental Management and Assessment of the UK as well as a certified ISO Management System auditor.

His passion for the environment and safety has provided him with a number of opportunities to share through presentations made to various private sector groups in Barbados and consultancies on EHS assessment projects. He also Chairs the National Advisory Committee on Occupational Safety and Health.

In addition to his professional pursuits, Brian is involved in fitness activities and trail running.
