Brian Blackman is an Associate in the Conveyancing Department in the Barbados office of Lex Caribbean. He joined the Firm in September of 2019 and, since then, has gained significant experience in all aspects of Conveyancing and Real Estate development. In addition, he has a keen interest in Wills and Estates and regularly advises clients with respect to the preparation of Wills and Estate Administration. He attended Harrison College and it was there, as a result of his avid participation in the Debating Society and Key Club, that his interest was sparked in becoming an attorney-at-law. He served as the School’s Head Boy for the year 2013-2014. After completing his secondary education, he went on to the University of the West Indies at its Cave Hill Campus where he obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) with Upper Second-Class Honours. Subsequently, he attended the Hugh Wooding Law School in Trinidad and Tobago, where he joined the Human Rights Law Clinic and participated in various projects championing the advancement of all human rights to the citizens of Trinidad and Tobago. On the successful completion of his studies, Brian was awarded the Legal Education Certificate (LEC) and was called to the Barbados Bar in October of 2019. Brian has a passion for Manchester United, travelling and film.
