Cellann Plowden is an Associate in the Litigation Department in Lex Caribbean’s Trinidad office. She completed her Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB) at the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus. Cellann subsequently obtained her Legal Education Certificate at Hugh Wooding Law School in 2019 and was admitted to the bar in November 2019.

Cellann began her legal career at a state entity where her practice areas included Industrial Relations, Intellectual Property and Corporate and Commercial Law. In April 2021 she entered private practice in Port of Spain where she primarily focused on industrial relations, criminal law and civil litigation which included but was not limited to debt collection, breach of contract and defamation. In 2023, Cellann also obtained her professional certificate in Anti-money Laundering and Financial Crime Prevention (CAMLFC) from the Arthur Lok Jack Global Business School. She is also a member of the Law Association of Trinidad and Tobago.

She joined the firm in November 2023 as an associate where she works with the Senior Partner Litigation, Mr. Bronock Reid. Her practice areas include industrial relations and civil litigation.

In her spare time Cellann likes to read, volunteer her time to charitable causes and keep abreast of current events both nationally and internationally.
