Christin Tahal is an Associate in the Corporate Commercial/Conveyancing and Property Development Departments. Christin obtained her LLB (Honours) from the University of The West Indies in 2012 and her LEC from the Hugh Wooding Law School, Trinidad in 2014. She was called to the Trinidad and Tobago Bar on the 14th November, 2014.
Whilst at the Hugh Wooding Law School Christin served as an In-Service Trainee at the Ministry of the Attorney General within the Departments of the Solicitor General, Chief State Solicitor and Law Reform Commission. She also worked as a Student Attorney within the Legal Aid Clinic, providing support on Estate, Contract, Conveyancing and Family Law matters. Additionally she was chosen to participate in a Specialist Clinic focusing on the law of Trusts and Equity where she was mentored by two esteemed Judges of the High Court and Court of Appeal.
Christin began her formal legal career in November 2014 as a Legal Officer at a prominent Insurance Company after which in June 2015 she joined the firm. She works closely with the Partner in Conveyancing and Property Development, Mrs. Candice Jones-Simmons.
In her free time, Christin enjoys reading genre fiction, particularly romance, fantasy and science fiction. She also loves spending time with her family.
Christin is a member of the Law Association of Trinidad and Tobago.
