Dana-Marie Smith is an Associate in the Litigation Department in Lex Caribbean’s Trinidad office.

Dana-Marie completed her Bachelor of Laws at the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus in 2017 and while at University she developed a particular affinity towards criminal law.

Upon graduating from the Sir Hugh Wooding Law School in 2019, Dana-Marie was admitted to the Trinidad and Tobago Bar in November of the same year. She is a member of the Law Association of Trinidad and Tobago.

Although she commenced her career practicing criminal law as both counsel and instructing attorney at an esteemed Chambers in Port of Spain, Trinidad, Dana-Marie sought to expand her knowledge of the Law and joined the firm as an Associate in July 2023, where she works closely with Senior Partner, Bronock Reid in the Litigation Department. Her practice areas include civil and corporate/commercial litigation, commercial debt recovery and employment law/industrial relations.

In her spare time, Dana-Marie enjoys travelling, swimming, and handling event logistics.
