Jeriah Rock

Jeriah Rock is an Associate in the Corporate Commercial and Finance Department. Jeriah joined Lex after spending two years building experience at a Chambers in Barbados where he was involved in a plethora of diverse legal matters. Jeriah’s primary areas of focus include Trademark Law, General Corporate governance and maintenance, Mergers and Acquisitions and Employment Law. 

Jeriah was awarded a Bachelor of Laws degree with Upper Second Class Honours from the University of the West Indies Cave Hill Campus in 2018. In 2020 he successfully completed the requirements for the Legal Education Certificate from the Hugh Wooding Law School and was called to the Bar in Barbados in  2020. In 2023, he was awarded a Master of Laws in Corporate and Commercial Law, with Distinction from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus. 

During his legal training Jeriah was involved in several student leadership activities serving on the Cave Hill Campus Law Society and the Guild of Students Returning Officer’s subcommittee. He is also accomplished in advocacy having competed in the China-Caribbean Moot Court Competition in 2018 while at the University of the West Indies. Additionally, he was a member of the Hugh Wooding Law School team which represented the law school at the Margaret Forte Moot Court Competition in the Bahamas in 2020.

Jeriah is an avid creative writer and enjoys participating in writing workshops and competitions in his spare time. He is also an active member in the Leo Club of Barbados East and is also an accomplished athlete.
