Norlishia Derrick is an Associate in the Port-of-Spain, Trinidad office. Norlishia obtained her LLB from the University of the West Indies and her LEC from Hugh Wooding Law School, St. Augustine, Trinidad.

Norlishia joined the firm in January, 2013 and has experience in conveyancing, wills and administration of estates. Norlishia practices in the firm’s Conveyancing and Property Development Department and her portfolio encompasses work both in the fields of conveyancing and probate. Norlishia advises both local and international clients on matters relating to applications for work permits and grants of administration and liaises with financial and statutory entities to obtain the information necessary for such applications. She prepares wills and advises on matters relating to succession law, probate and intestacy. Norlishia has experience in legal issues relating to the sale and purchase of land such as deducing title, detailing and obtaining title requisitions, ensuring that all statutory and other obligations are complied with, as well as preparation of requisite legal documents including sale agreements, conveyances, assignments, rectifications, tenancy agreements, leases, gifts and assents, for lands held under the common law as well as under statute.
