Olive Stevenson-Clarke

Olive Stevenson-Clarke is an Associate in Lex Caribbean’s International Business group in the Barbados office. She is passionate about working on complex cross border projects with major institutional and entrepreneurial clients who do business in the global arena.

Olive was awarded a Bachelor of Laws degree with First Class Honours from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill campus in 2021. She went on to obtain her Legal Education Certificate from the Hugh Wooding Law School in 2023, earning a place on the Principal’s Roll of Honour. Olive received several awards while pursuing her legal education, including the Barbados Bar Association Prize for best performance in Year Three of the Bachelor of Laws program and prizes for best performance in Civil and Criminal Practice and Procedure. 

Olive has garnered experience in international trade and investment law, through the study of these disciplines and via internships with the CARICOM Office of Trade Negotiations, Shridath Ramphal Centre for International Trade and Georgetown University. She co-authored a publication on the Intellectual Property Regime in Barbados for the Promotion of Trade and Investment in the Barbados Medicinal Cannabis Industry.. 

In her spare time, Olive enjoys the wonders of black and white photography and bonding with loved ones over a nice meal.
