Let's TalkTamika is an Associate in the Lex Caribbean’s Commercial Litigation, Restructuring and Insolvency Department, and is based in the firm’s San Fernando, Trinidad office. Her practice is devoted to providing legal advice and representation to both local and international commercial clients, with a focus on contractual dispute resolution, through litigation and settlement negotiations.
Tamika regularly provides litigation risk, compliance and prevention advice to commercial clients involved in franchise, distribution, services and sales contract disputes. She also represents several local and regional banking, insurance and financial institutions, involved in mortgage and debt recovery matters and industrial actions.
Tamika received her LLB from the University of London in 2015 and her Legal Education Certificate from the Hugh Wooding Law School in 2018. She was called to the Trinidad and Tobago bar in November 2018. An avid reader and writer, Tamika served as a copy-editor/proofreader to an international award-winning author and National Chaconia/Humming Bird medalist during the legal studies of her LLB.
Tamika is a member of the Law Association of Trinidad and Tobago, the San Fernando Volunteer Network and the Trinidad and Tobago Alzheimer’s Association. Her hobbies include baking for family and friends.
