Vidisha joined Lex Caribbean in 2000 and is a partner with the firm. She specializes in real estate and finance.

Vidisha’s wealth of experience in real estate includes merger and acquisitions transactions in a variety of sectors, including hotels and residential and commercial real estate developments. She has advised both commercial developers and residential developers in selling and buying developments and structuring them. Her clients include local as well as international clients, and she has provided advice on a myriad of issues, including title, planning and regulatory issues. She has also represented sellers and purchasers of residential properties in a variety structures, from conveyances to corporate to other structures.

Vidisha’s experience in corporate finance extends from the local arena, both in the private and public sectors, to the international business sector. She has advised on local law and regulatory issues on loan and security arrangements in the context of complex and high value transactions.

Vidisha has a strong working knowledge of the French language and has conducted mergers and acquisitions transactions in French. She is a member of the Barbados Town Planning Society and the Barbados Chamber of Commerce & Industry’s Green Committee and an auxiliary member of the Barbados Real Estate and Valuers Association.

Vidisha has a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) degree and a Master of Laws, has been called to the Bar in Barbados and Guyana and is on the Roll of Solicitors of England & Wales.
